People Bingo

 

     People Bingo is a fun first week get-to-know each other activity. Or, it can be used later in the semester as a grammar reinforcement activity.

 

Materials: One copy of the Bingo sheet for each student

 

Procedure: Ask the class who has played Bingo before. Tell them they are trying to get a "BINGO", which is 5 in a row down, across, or diagonal.

 Students will walk around the room asking questions to other students. When they find a student who answers "yes" to the question, they write the student's name in the box.

(At this point, you can review question formation for some or all of the boxes.)
